Since the day we were founded, at World Medicine we have continued our operations with sustainable quality standards, an innovative perspective, and a pioneering role. On this path to positioning Turkey among the leading countries in pharmaceutical exports, every step we take—from R&D to the use of renewable energy, from our broad production capacity to our international investments—contributes to both our country and our industry.
We have placed at the top of our priorities the goal of positioning Turkey as a global production and hub center, and becoming a leader in pharmaceutical exports. We shape all our investments in this direction and attach great importance to being a reliable business partner in every country where we operate. On the R&D side, in recent years, we have become the second company in Turkey across all industries in terms of the number of projects produced.
While meticulously carrying out all our business processes, we also approach the world’s depleting energy resources with sensitivity. We fulfill our responsibilities for a cleaner future and view sustainability as one of our primary areas of focus. In this regard, as the only pharmaceutical company in Turkey that generates its own energy, we use entirely clean and renewable energy in our factories. Through this investment, we contribute to reducing Turkey’s energy dependence and take on a pioneering role in this field within the pharmaceutical industry. Our ultimate goal is to successfully complete our transition to 100% renewable energy. Meanwhile, in our production facilities, we make wastewater reusable, prefer recyclable materials, and regularly calculate our carbon footprint. We certify our efforts in this field with international certification programs. While our production facility in Istanbul has earned the “Zero Waste” Certificate, our factory in Çerkezköy, with the International Green Energy Certificate we obtained, has become the first pharmaceutical production facility in Turkey to use green energy, a milestone that we are proud of.
At every step we have taken so far, we have meticulously planned the details of our next step. From now on, we will continue to work together to elevate the name of World Medicine to the top in every field we are involved in, and we will preserve our leading position in the areas where we already stand at the summit.
Respectfully,
Sohrab Mammadov
