Pharmaceutical Export Champion of Türkiye: World Medicine
Winners of the “Award Ceremony for Stars of Export”, organized annually by the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters Association (İKMİB), for 2022 were announced. The top pharmaceutical exporter remained the same this year as well: World Medicine retained its leadership in pharmaceutical exports.
The “Stars of Export 2022” ceremony, held by İKMİB to honor and encourage member companies in the chemicals industry for their export success, took place on June 16. In the event’s eighth edition, World Medicine once again ranked first in pharmaceutical exports.
Sohrab Mammadov, Vice Chairman of the Board at World Medicine, stated, “It is a source of pride to be recognized by many institutions and organizations for our Export and R&D investments. As we have shared before, each award motivates us to work even harder; today’s result once again proves this. To remain at the top and protect our leadership in pharmaceutical exports, we continue to scale our manufacturing activities and expand our investments. Our goal is to be the first brand that comes to mind in pharmaceutical exports.”
Mammadov added, “Since we began operations in 2011, the number of countries we export to has increased every year; today, we export pharmaceuticals to more than thirty-five countries. This shows that World Medicine is moving closer each day to our target of positioning Türkiye as a global pharmaceutical hub, while we take firm steps toward being the company that contributes the most to Türkiye’s economy.”
