On November 6, World Medicine participated in the 44th Istanbul Marathon, running for its "Education Changes" project in collaboration with the Turkish Education Association (TED) to contribute to the education of our youth.
With the mission of providing equal opportunity in education, World Medicine employees ran on behalf of talented, yet financially disadvantaged, students from public schools. The Istanbul Marathon, held every November, took place this year on November 6th to support the bright future of Turkey's youth and to raise awareness about the importance of education.
By running through the "Run for Goodness" platform, World Medicine collected donations to cover the one-year education expenses for three children. In total, all corporate teams running for TED raised approximately 200,000 TL.
Through its corporate participation in this race, World Medicine took significant steps toward a healthier future.
